9th august-birthday bash @ national stadium!

last major event held @ our beloved stadium le...i'm sure the stadium brings back memories for alot of sporeans..esp soccer fans and sea games supporters and ndp enthu kias..haha..guess it'll be kinda odd to be without a national stadium for a couple of years..esp every time cycle pass..used to see the stadium le..and how after sea sports activities we would always go the toilet there and bath..haha!

anyways the parade was not bad..but the show segment was kinda same to other years leh..maybe its jus me..but it's jus the same 'pattern' every year-colourful and like very messy and artistic de..haha..but they did throw in some new tricks

we are 2nd! wahahaha...we tried to be champion but we failed..lol..second also not bad la
our team name was 'Just 4 Bowlers' i think its kinda silly la..but nvm la..cant think of any other names liao
i played rather badly today xia..quite below my average..sians half..with this kind of scores this sun sure buang de lo...we were very lucky to get 2nd lo..considering all 4 of us were quite off form..we won the 3rd placing by 6 pins..haha!

i cant wait to get the medal..well done Just 4 Bowlers! =]

went for a focus group today..hmm..not bad la...the discussion was on candies..haha..but acutally the main point was tic tac la..maybe we'll see a new tic tac packaging soon?hehe
on my way to the town for the focus group i was sitting to this old lady on the mrt..no offence to the lady, but she got a weird smell..wa peng eh..she got the smell that you get when u burp after u eat chicken rice..kan smelly la! not tat she burped or wat..but the smell is just constantly on her body..wa lau..then i had to tahan the smell from simei till city hall..omg la..after i got off the train it was like heaven la..taking in NORMAL air..haha..i pity the next person tat sat next to her

after tat went to meet veron to go shopping for beads..we had dinner at Qi Ji..hmm..quite nice leh..i passed by the shop so many times but nv dine there before..all their food looks and smells good..haha..i tried their nasi lemak..the verdict.......................
can fight with changi village de!lolthe only thing that they lose out on is their otah..sucks..too bland liao..

2 nites.2 concerts..so very tired!

















The Z pop charity concert wasnt too bad..but i dun think it would be worth the original price it is priced at..lol..anyways since we got it free we might as well go =D
i wished they had invited artist like jay chou or david tao..LOL

anyways being inside of the indoor stadium again reminds me of the time when we were training for NDP 2003..the stadium was our resting/dining area...all the memories jus flashed back..haha..nothing much changed since..



















the sch CO concert was more value for money...i think it's DUH la..considering it's priced at only $5..lol..anyways watching them perform also reminds me of the time when i was in pri sch and playing for my sch CO..wahahaha

today i answered a question she shot at me..i got the first part correct but the second part i got help from cheryl..ms wong didnt see tat..but she jus based on her 'instinct' and said ' alex..did u get the answer from cheryl?' wth..no need doubt me till like tat k? i know i'm stupid and lazy and slow but hey..i dont sleep in class anymore right(except for gp?lol)? i am targeting an A for maths although i know i wont get it..i simply wasted too much time since day 1.
but they say aim for the moon,even if u miss you'll land among the stars..i dunno la..see how things goes also ba..first of all i must kick away the habit of falling asleep on my notes or work.lol

i think wheels are fascinating..look at how fast it allows us to travel on land, even without the help of motors..bicycles, skates, skate scooters

badmintion open started yest. and my team is now in the finals..not very much my effort..but nvm..guess we get thru as a team..and we're gonna get that cup! i think i'm very lucky to get good teammates most of the time when i go for competitions..without them i think i wont be winning some of my competitions liao

today's beginning of weekend! weekends = no school. i love weekends! HooOo!~

firstly, they got undercover reporters to enter and leave buildings in various countries. they wanted to test if the people there would hold the door for them as an act of courtesy
secondly, they got undercover reporters to pretend to drop a whole file full of paper docs on a busy street, to see who would help to pick up
thirdly, they went to shops and bought small items that cost little- to check if the shopkeeper would say 'thank you' even though the purchase didnt cost much

some people nowadays are jus FUCKED UP. i had to wait 10 MIN for a lift jus because some asshole that lives on 13th floor kept on holding to the lift for his furniture to move in...i saw he had many furniture inside the lift..if he fucking have so many furniture then bloody hell jus split it into a few trips la! he keep on holding on to the lift for wat?other people also need to use de la! somemore the lift before that got take people to 4th floor. so imagine the lift goin from 5th to 1st then from 1st to 4th then from 4th to 13th(and stop there for freaking long) then come to 6th...cb..i wait until tulan lo..i wait till bth then i took my bike and took the stairs. when i reached the lobby the fucking guy is still holding the lift at lv 13!!!omg

then coming home from ecp tat time..at the bayshore cross junction..it was green man..GREEN man and it wasnt flashing...budden FUCKING CAR drivers kept turning and cutting into our way..cant they fucking see cyclists are trying to cross? they eyes got stamp isst..not only 1 or 2 cars lo..it's 6 cars..6 fucking cars that keep turning...sigh

Yesterday i went to ecp for a slow cycle alone..the weather was damn nice and the ride was damn song..i really enjoyed the view and breeze and everything..esp it was evening time..so the atmosphere there was wonderful..think i always go ecp cycle i always jus cycle and rarely enjoy the surroundings



although i already know ecp very well, but after yesterday's ride somehow i jus feel that i know it better..
actually wanted to go see sunset de..but the stupid dark clouds had to come..so no sunset..ahhh..another time ba

Tribute to Ms peh

my sec 4 eng teacher passed away this morning 12.20am. it was so sudden la..she's been down with cancer and the condition was quite bad. budden it's like so fast? cos we jus visited her a couple of weeks ago..and then she passed away today liao..somemore she jus live 2 blocks away from me. it's jus doesnt seems right. i was watching world cup at 12.20am and she passed away 2 blocks away from me.

she was a good teacher. one that knows how to use various methods to get thru to her students.she always had interesting ways to teach english and she seemed to have the answer to almost any problem in the world..lol. will always remember the walk she took us on. when would an english teacher take her students out for a walk in the park jus to write a compo? or give us a sweet and ask us to write a compo about the sweet? although we left BV liao but we still kept contact with her and would go out for group lunchs, not as teacher students, but as friends. that was when her condition was better.
even though her condition worsern after we left BV she still pushed on and insisted on teaching the next batch of sec 4 students. there are rarely failures in her english classes
she was really feeling painful the last time we went to visit her. so i guess that it might be a blessing in disguise? at least she doesnt have to suffer anymore..i jus wish that she would find peace wherever she is now..

ms peh, you will always be remembered.

SL & Dear's birthday

thu was tiring but fun! my class had service learning at y.m.c.a childcare center..heng heng the location was near our school, so we didnt have to travel far. our objective- to organise games for the kids(age from p1 to p6) and play with them.or u can say gain their teacher one day of freedom.

teacher: how long will you guys be taking the kids till?
us: erm..6pm
teacher: yes!phew..one stress free day for me!(cos the parents will come at 6 to pick the kids)

later on we understand how the teacher feel..lol..the kids are damn noisy and naughty la! 22 of us also can barely handle them liao..much less the 2 teachers everyday..haha poor teachers.
some of them were shy to begin with but later opened up to us.and they are really very particular and shy about sitting next to the opp gender.they were told to form a circle, and they formed 2 semi circles of guys and girls -_-"

the last segment was 'project runway'. the different groups were supposed to dress up one of the kids with colour paper and stuff...their design was funny la.one looked like a monster while another one looked like power ranger!lol

fri went with veron to celebrate her birthday..had fun too! we went kboxing before goin to dinner at Secret Garden..wahahaha..the kbox we really made it worth man..we took god-knows-how-many bowls of nuts..lol. i think their nuts really nice leh..they mixed alot of stuff inside..every honey star and coco crunch also got! -_-"

Yew Tee Cycle Challenge

we went,we saw, but sadly didnt conquer..LOL

the day start at 6.30am..i was over at kit's house for breakfast..mac delivery!by 7 we set off for yew tee cc(the equipment was loaded onto the car the night before) the other 2 team mates agreed to meet us straight there as they dun live around here.

7.30am- kit and i arrived at ytcc..saw bikers starting to gather liao..as more of them arrive we get more sians.why leh? cos they are better equiped then us and they look much much fitter..ahhhhh. then came the scott sponsored team and the team with national riders..wa lau!those 2 teams damn sat.all wearing same jesery and same bike somemore..haiz..kenna sponsored jiu shi like that. 95% of the teams had a girl/woman in their team..yes even the scott team and the national team..sadly my team couldnt find any girl that would join us..so we had to suffer the time penalty..we didnt think much of it at first..but the penalty really cost us heavy lor..we could have gotten 3rd..sigh

8am- registering starts..we registered and was given our team info sheet.on it are empty spaces for the station masters to sign and also all the location of bonus sticks.the whole competition works on time..so the team with the fastest timing wins.and the bonus sticks are to minus time off the team's total time.after registering we wasted no time and start to plan.we marked out on the street driectory all the locations of the bonus sticks(yes,we were allowed a street directory)

we drew lots to determine our route.we got route 15 and was scheduled to start as the second wave (they flagged off in waves)

8.18am- flag off!our first clue were placed one field length away from us. we were supposed to run across that muddy field to find our clue,then run back to our bikes and set off. chen shao and i took the left side of the field while kit and ben took the right side. i was lucky and found the clue without much difficulty.i signalled to kit and we chiong back to our bikes. we were the first to get to our bikes..the rest were still finding their clues.however, we dont know the area at all,so had to check the street directory to find out.by the time we left, many teams had already left the starting point.

1st check point- chew soon egg farm.we had no difficulty getting there, but jus as we were about 200M away from our checkpoint, chen shao said he had difficulty breathing.he then said he couldnt see anything..then he jus laid on the road..he took about 15 min to recover..even then he was too weak to walk..we then took a slow walk to the checkpoint..luck it's an unmanned checkpoint and we dun have to perform any task, jus note some words on a tower.we called back hq to get our next clue.

2nd checkpoint- next was yew tee park.we didnt have any problems getting to this one too.cept we were slowed down by our injured. this was a manned checkpoint.we were to perform a physical task and ans 10 Qns.each Qn we get wrong we would add 3 min to our total time.we got 8 correct

3rd checkpoint- lim chu kang cemetery.we were supposed to find the highest point of the chinese cemetry and count the no of statues there was. no problems getting there and we cleared this one with ease..and the downhill was damn song! =D

4th checkpoint- stagmont park. this was an unmanned check point.we were required to note the numbers on the lampost 'at the end of the stone walk'.they codename the lampost 'bright knights' and expected us to fig it out for ourselves.no sweat for this one.

5th checkpoint- army camp gate at jalan murai. unmanned checkpoint. we were supposed to note the phone number on the gate.budden guess wat? chen shao's front tyre suddenly gave way! we quickly changed a new tube and used a handpump to pump up sufficient air to allow him to cycle to the nearest petrol station to pump up fully. luckily the nearest petrol station was only one junction away.by the time we reached the gate,ben and chen shao was starting to feel the strain liao

6th checkpoint- chua chu kang park. this was a manned checkpoint. and on our way there,it started to rain.it started out as a drizzle before turning into a heavy storm..wth..it was damn cold and damn pain lo..the rain hitting again us..we were wearing singlet somemore..haha we were shouting like mad dogs in hope of relieving us of the coldness. again at this manned station we had to perform a physical task and ans 10 Qns. this time we got 9 correct =]

7th checkpoint- farmart centre. we were under pressure due to the time limit(we have to return 5 hours after flag off,no matter if we complete the stations) furthermore, ben and chen shao was really shag liao..kit and me took turns to draft.the rain was still on us and the wind was still blowing..haha..nice conditions to slp!

we manage to make it back before the 5 hours were up and completed all 7 stations.there were loads of teams that didnt complete the 7 stations..but we had our drawbacks too..in the end we were within top 10, but we didnt win anything..booooooo..but it was fun la..we tried our best..and now we know..next time get a girl on our team!hmm..i didnt know so many girls in spore bike lor..until this comp. pity rayner couldnt join.i must admit that not knowing the west area also cost us..cos most of the teams were from the west or at least had one member living in the west

Back from camp!

HooO!~~~ i'm back!!! muahahahaha. 4 days pass so quickly..LTC was a blast and a success...many memorable moments..i'll never forget all the laughter...esp at the dirty slope!hehehehe...that was really fun and song...

rachel asked us do we really really love odac...most of our ans were that sometimes we like and sometimes we dont..but not love until we go crazy that kind. however i dont regret joining odac and never did

looking at the J1s during the camp this year, i noticed that there were people similar to me in the crowd..really brought back memories from last year when i had my LTC..the events took place at exactly the same places la...really feels like i'm watching myself perform...ironic isnt it?i also dunno how to explain..budden now i know how the last batch of seniors felt like when they were observing us during our LTC

these few days i'm feeling uneasy again..due to certain reasons..certain things are haunting me...again...i really hate this kind of feeling...i wish i can jus push it all away..sometimes it's really unbearable.i really dunno wat to do about it...jus hope that this feeling will jus go away with certain events that are about to take place

i feel damn bad..sigh
