17,18,19 march was the 2 star kayaking course for odac..it was quite a breeze and fun..wahahaha..now they say i look indian =S
this time our course was held at changi ssc, which in my opinion is much much nicer than kallang one...the kallang one damn dirty and smelly la!bleahs..this one nicer..water cleaner and no smell also
first day was spent revising 1 star skills..i think abit waste of time lor..if not the course can be like completed in 2 days..so ya..the 1st day was plain boring
day 2 was nicer with the expedition being the first activity..we kayaked from cssc to loyang beach near downtown east there..we lunched there before kayaking back to cssc...the journey back was shiok la..the waves were strong and we went up down up down up down..wahahaha..but no one capsized..abit boring on that part
day 3 was interesting..we were taught 2 star skills and showed some of 3 star skills..i find the eskimo roll and the eskimo bow rescue useful and interesting..hmm..but the instructor wont let us try out eskimo roll..sians...must 3 stars then can..anyways the whole course ended with everyone passing the course(duh)..starting i didnt really like my instructor..but towards the end opinions changed...lol
the 4 star video that was showed to us at the end of the course inspired me...looks damn fun and challenging la...i wanna go take 3 star before i enter army and hope to proceed on to 4 star when i'm out of army...coaching is also on my mind too...hmm..maybe i will go take coaching level 1 soon?see how ba..i want but must see got time anot..imagine being a coach at age 17 or 18..wahahaha!
i think the outdoors is for suited for me...not some boring 9 to 5 office job...i sure slp one la!
bowling comp coming up..cant wait =]
